Today, the educational awareness program on the protection and preservation of cultural heritage concluded at Hail Saeed Anam Educational Complex in the Al-Mudhaffar district-Taiz Governorate. The program was implemented in several schools by the General Authority for Antiquities Taiz-Branch Governorate, in partnership with the Waeey Organization for Heritage and Development WOHD and Heritage for Peace Organization, funded by ALIPH Foundation.

As part of the project of “Documentation and assessment of damages to the historical Al-Kahira castle”, various awareness sessions were conducted today. These sessions included introducing the archaeological landmarks of Taiz, particularly the Al-Kahira castle, and highlighting the project’s objectives. Additionally, there were artistic segments featuring sketches, theatrical performances, folk dances, fashion shows, documentaries, and songs, among other artistic activities aimed at protecting and preserving cultural heritage.
